TRS Educator Joins Forces with the Mississippi Children’s Museum in an Exciting New Role!
The Mississippi Children’s Museum is teaming up with area educators in an amazing new way. Our very own Mrs. Leah Nance, middle school science teacher here at TRS, along with other education professionals, has been selected by The Mississippi Children’s Museum as an official Community Stakeholder. In this exciting new role, Mrs. Nance will help shape the way the museum serves Mississippi’s K-12 children through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
Fall Activities at TRS
The month of October is a busy time for us at The Redeemer’s School! With many programs for enrichment, community involvement, and cultural awareness, we fit a lot of excitement into five short school weeks.
New Members & New Roles
As we kick off the 2024-2025 school year, we would like to take a moment to acknowledge the new members of the TRS team, as well as a few existing team members who have taken on a new role with us.
The Redeemer’s School Celebrates Discovery Week
Discovery Week is a highly anticipated annual week-long celebration of exploration, education, and creativity at TRS. This year, Discovery Week was May 13th-17th and featured local celebrities, a cultural fair, chef demonstration, mock trial, and finishing the week with a field day!
8th Grade Students Roar into Their Futures
Our second graduating class of 8th graders are headed into the next chapter of their academic journey. The 2024 class is composed of bright, promising students that we know will carry our mission, and God’s grace, with them. We would love to introduce them!
Fine Arts Programs
As we near the end of our 9th year of operation, we would like to take this opportunity to look back on our Fine Arts Programs for the 23-24 school year. This year, we highlight three occasions that are important to our faith and community: Christmas, Black History Month, and Easter.
