Competition Fosters Success at The Redeemer’s School
Our school Reading Fair is more than just an academic event; it’s a vibrant celebration of literacy, creativity, and the power of storytelling. Every year, students from first grade to eighth grade get an opportunity to showcase their love for books and literature, transforming the school into a hub of imagination and learning. The Reading Fair nurtures students' comprehension skills, enhances their critical thinking abilities, and fosters a lifelong appreciation for literature. It also promotes public speaking skills, as students are tasked with presenting their projects to classmates and even judges at the district level!
TRS Educator Joins Forces with the Mississippi Children’s Museum in an Exciting New Role!
The Mississippi Children’s Museum is teaming up with area educators in an amazing new way. Our very own Mrs. Leah Nance, middle school science teacher here at TRS, along with other education professionals, has been selected by The Mississippi Children’s Museum as an official Community Stakeholder. In this exciting new role, Mrs. Nance will help shape the way the museum serves Mississippi’s K-12 children through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
