Spring Field Trips
The Redeemer’s School students kicked April off with a bang! Our second annual middle school overnight field trip was to Memphis, TN April 4th and 5th. Students and chaperones alike had an excellent time exploring the sights and sounds of our neighbors to the North.
Students Win Big at District Reading Fair
The Redeemer’s School students have been exploring the love of reading and storytelling this year through our School Book Fair in the Fall semester and our annual Reading Fair this Spring. Winners from our TRS Reading Fair advanced to the MAIS District Reading Fair where they competed against their peers from surrounding independent schools across the metro.
Spelling Bee Spotlight: Casey Austin
TRS is proud to have a Spelling Champion in our midst! Sixth Grader Casey Austin recently competed and placed first in his grade group at the Schoolwide and Districtwide Spelling Bees, and advanced to and placed second in Sixth Grade at the MAIS Overall Spelling Bee. Casey went back and forth for 30 rounds with one other contestant, an impressive feat!
ANNOUNCEMENT: Open Enrollment Now Available for the 2024-2025 School Year
As we prepare for the 2024-2025 academic year, we are excited to share some key distinctions into what makes our school unique and how we actively foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that prepares our students to be Kingdom leaders in the Jackson community and beyond.
SERVICE | Community Engagement at TRS
During this season of giving, we are reminded of the importance of showing love and God’s grace to those in our Jackson community who are less fortunate. Not confined to the holidays, our students, faculty, and staff work throughout the year to seek out and respond to opportunities to fill needs. Earlier this year, TRS hosted a highly successful canned food drive, collecting and raising funds for nearly 2,000 canned goods items.
BODY | Physical Development at TRS
At TRS, we believe that team sports and activities are vital in connecting young people with something bigger than themselves. We are proud of our Lions Cross Country Team, who completed their third season of competition this fall. We know that offering these types of opportunities will benefit our students by deepening existing friendships, developing beneficial character traits, and experiencing the thrill of personal and collective achievement.
