Come and See: The Savior is Born

We are excited to have wrapped up our school year with the annual TRS Christmas program, this year called, “Come and See: The Savior Is Born.”

From start to finish, our students told the story of Jesus’s birth from Mary and Joseph, all the way to when the Wisemen and the shepherds traveled to worship through words, songs, and a few instruments. We wanted to show not only the shepherds and Wisemen obeying the call to come to see and praise Jesus but also that we too, can go to Jesus at any time, any day, and put our faith in Him to wash our sins away.

The hope of life and Christmas is Jesus’s birth, and God sending salvation to earth.  It’s important for students, parents, and the community to know this because God is the solution to all of our sins and injustices we experience in this life. He is our hope, and if we do not have Him, we do not have the hope of salvation and life.

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
— Isaiah 7:14
