8th Grade Students Roar into Their Futures
Our second graduating class of 8th graders are headed into the next chapter of their academic journey. The 2024 class is composed of bright, promising students that we know will carry our mission, and God’s grace, with them. We would love to introduce them:
Quddus Abdul-Haqq
Mr. Quddus Abdul-Haqq, a TRS student since kindergarten, plans to attend Ridgeland High School. When asked about his academic growth at TRS, he says, "I believe that I've grown academically during my time at TRS through reading comprehension, advancing in math curriculum, and attaining historical and scientific knowledge." Congratulations Quddus!
Kamyriah Howell
Ms. Kamyriah Howell, plans to attend Terry High School in the fall. A student since K4, Kamyriah currently holds the honor as TRS’s longest attending student. When asked what advice she would give to the younger students, she says "I would advise the younger students at TRS to stay focused on accomplishing their goals." We think that is excellent advice, and we hope she also stays focused on her goals of becoming a real estate agent and a dental hygienist! We are proud of you, Kamyriah!
Cameron Simpson
Mr. Cameron Simpson plans to attend Jackson Academy. Cameron intends to carry his valuable TRS experience into his future in the following way: "I will incorporate my Christian values in my high school and beyond by using bible verses to boost my courage and to believe in myself even when times in school are hard". Jackson Academy is fortunate to have a student as bright and courageous as you, Cameron. Congratulations!
Jada Robinson
After graduating from TRS, Ms. Jada Robinson will be attending Hillcrest Christian School. When asked about a Bible verse she finds most inspiring, she said "Proverbs 3:5-6 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight'." An excellent choice, as her dream career is to become a pediatrician! We are proud of you, Jada!
Chayse Baker
After graduation, Mr. Chayse Baker plans to attend Mt. Salus Christian School. When asked if there was a teacher that has had a significant impact on his life, he said "A teacher who has had a significant impact on my life was Mr. Gardner. From 2018-2021, he made me become more interested in learning the history of the world due to his unique teaching methods". He plans to carry his time at TRS into his high school career by being respectful of others. Congratulations Chayse!
We are excited to see what amazing things God will continue to do in each of your lives in the years to come, and we thank you and your families for sharing such an important part of your life’s journey with us at The Redeemer’s School. God bless, and congratulations to each of you. Go Lions!
