2023 Reading Fair Winners
Our school has reason to celebrate the accomplishments of our students! Several of our Lions excelled at this year's District Reading Fair, showing off their language arts and comprehension mastery through storyboarding. We are so proud of the hard work and determination exhibited by our students, which resulted in a remarkable performance at the MAIS Reading Fair against other independent schools from around the metro area.
Mrs. Moore, Dean of Academics, expressed her admiration for the students’ exceptional performance. "I am so proud of our students and their commitment to learning," she said. "Their achievements at the District Reading Fair reflect how hard they've been working, and I cannot wait to see how they will build on those skills in the upcoming year.”
Mr. Menogan, Head of School, commended the faculty and staff for their support and guidance, which has helped the students excel in their studies. "The MAIS Reading Fair is an opportunity for our students to showcase their reading skills and imagination, and I am thrilled with the results," he said. "I additionally want to thank our teachers for their dedication to getting our students to this point of experiencing success as well as our TRS parents"

Receiving awards at the Reading Fair is also a testament to TRS' mission of academic excellence. We aim to provide a nurturing and challenging environment that supports our students in their intellectual and personal growth alongside their walk with Christ. At every grade level, we encourage them to be curious, critical thinkers who are passionate learners about God's world through reading and knowledge acquisition. We love that the Reading Fair gave them an opportunity to engage with their peers and learn from one another.
Congratulations to the winners and all the students who participated. You are an inspiration to us all, and we can’t wait to see where reading takes you next!
